San Diego, CA – August 12, 2024 – The 8th Annual CaddyHack Golf Festival, held at the prestigious Fairbanks Ranch Country Club, has once again proven to be a resounding success, raising an impressive $225,000 for the Boys to Men Mentoring Network (B2M). The funds raised will be utilized to expand Boys to Men’s programs, allowing the organization to reach more middle and high school students, providing them with the guidance and support they need to navigate their formative years. This expansion is a crucial step towards ensuring that more young boys have access to positive role models and the tools they need to succeed.
The event was a vibrant celebration of community spirit, sportsmanship, and philanthropy, featuring an array of exciting activities and unforgettable moments. Highlights of the festival included a captivating live painting by renowned musician and artist Sergio Gutierrez, who brought Marilyn Monroe to life on canvas, recreating an iconic golf photograph. This extraordinary piece added a touch of artistic flair to the day and was a crowd favorite.
A poignant tribute was paid to the late Ronald Ernest Hahn, father of CaddyHack Chairman Ernie Hahn, whose legacy continues to inspire and drive the organization’s mission forward. The heartfelt homage reminded everyone of the profound impact mentorship and support can have on young lives.
The festival grounds buzzed with energy, featuring over 30 vendors and 20 bands and live entertainers, creating an atmosphere of fun and festivity. Attendees enjoyed delicious offerings from Luna Grill, Phil’s BBQ, Monarch Ocean Pub, Brandt Beef, Mendocino Farms, Sweetfin and more, ensuring everyone was fueled up for the day on the greens.
This year’s event would not have been possible without the generous support of the sponsors. Boys to Men extends their deepest gratitude to the title sponsor, Sycuan Casino Resort and Tribe, for their commitment and dedication to the cause. Their significant contribution, along with the support of all the sponsors, was instrumental in making this event a tremendous success.
B2M is incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, sponsored, and volunteered at the 8th Annual CaddyHack Golf Festival. Their support is making a tangible difference in the lives of young boys across the community. Together, they are building a brighter future, one swing at a time.
